how do you balance the need for touch with the fear of being known? i remember traveling to maine every summer with my family, spending my days playing in the low tide and biking to the local market to buy food for the week––sea salt gently crystallizing on my skin as the briny air dried me off, the smell of fresh berries clinging to my clothes and hair. i want someone to be that close to me.
