Founder & Creative Vision
Atwood’s fragrances are created by Luke Anapolis, a self-taught perfumer whose path to scent began not in a lab but in nature — specifically amid the pine groves of the Cape Cod National Seashore.
Luke’s journey started with a singular curiosity: he fell in love with the smell of pitch pine in Beech Forest and couldn’t find a perfume that captured it. That curiosity evolved into obsession, leading him to study perfumery, blend accords, and pursue compositions that hold nostalgia, memory, and emotion.
Splitting his time between Brooklyn and Provincetown, Luke approaches perfumery with both a designer’s precision and a storyteller’s heart — believing fragrance can preserve the quiet shapes of belonging that photos often miss. Atwood is his love letter to Provincetown: an attempt to bottle not just a place but a feeling.

- Beech Forest — A smoky, resinous wood scape scent inspired by the pitch pines and dry forest floors lining the Cape Cod National Seashore.
- Penuche — A narrative perfume capturing the essence of town life: salty winds, worn leather, and sun-sweet vanilla reminiscent of ice cream cones on Commercial Street.
